This is our first event and we are so excited to bring a great experience to everyone. Come as you are or dress up as whatever you like! We are looking forward to bringing great entertainment, live steel fights, and unique vendors to our small county. The Renfaire is scheduled for October 3rd and 4th, 2026 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds in Greencastle, IN.

FAQ

  • Are weapons allowed? Period-style arms (swords, daggers, bows, pikes, ect) are only allowed if fully peace tied (secured so they cannot be drawn) and carried on a sheath/holster. Modern weapons are prohibited.

  • Are animals allowed? ADA service animals are the only animals permitted outside of the animals for entertainment purposes.

  • Is photography allowed? Absolutely! Drones are not allowed on the grounds but all other photography and video is permitted. Feel free to tag us on Facebook.

  • Are costumes welcome? Costumes are encouraged of any time period or theme, all we ask is for it to be family friendly! We will be hosting a costume contest both days with multiple categories.

  • Is trinket trading allowed? Yes but once we have a list of vendors we may have a prohibited list so we don’t have free items floating around that are similar to someone’s items that are being sold.
